Alienstacks Ltd is a London-based engineering studio. We build production-grade software for non-technical founders in Western markets, with engineering credentials earned at the highest scale in Asia.
Built by engineers from Asia's leading tech companies
Alienstacks was founded by engineers from Thailand, China, and Japan — alumni of companies like Alibaba, Ant Group, Xiaomi, and Sunmi. They work on a project basis rather than full-time, so every engagement is staffed with senior people matched to the work, not whoever happens to be available.
The idea
Asia has produced some of the world's most capable engineers — trained at the region's largest technology companies, shipping software used by hundreds of millions. Yet that calibre of talent has rarely been accessible to a small business in Manchester or Minneapolis.
We built Alienstacks to change that. Our project-based model keeps engineers sharp and engaged, and gives clients access to a team that was previously out of reach — at a fraction of the cost of building it in-house.

Why Alienstacks exists
Western technology moves slower than it should. Chinese engineering teams — operating inside ecosystems like Alibaba, Tencent, and Bytedance — ship features in weeks that Western agencies quote at months. The speed differential is not a talent gap; it is a process and tooling gap.
Most non-technical founders in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia face a broken market. London and San Francisco agencies charge $50k–$200k for builds that are out of reach for early-stage budgets. Offshore freelancers on Upwork and Fiverr fail more often than they succeed — the Builder.ai collapse in 2025 put this on the front page. Fractional CTOs charge $5–10k per month before a line of code is written.
Alienstacks is the third option: founder-led engineering with Alibaba-standard training, Western-facing operations, UK company registration, and SaaS-priced engagements. We compete with agencies on quality and with freelancers on price — without the failure modes of either.

Every engagement ends with a live, production-deployed product. Staging-only handovers are not a delivery.
